Jim Potts is the Vice President of Sales for the OC and LA Regions. He began his career with Xerox in 1989 which has allowed him to hold a variety of leadership positions in Sales, Sales Management and Marketing Management. Jim also spent two years with Xerox abroad, working as a Color Marketing Manager for Fuji Xerox in Sydney, Australia.
Jim graduated from the University of San Diego and later went back to USD and earned his MBA while continuing his career at Xerox. In 1998 he left Xerox to become a Xerox Business Partner and started a Xerox Sales Agency in Orange County, CA. In 2000, he joined forces with Mr. Copy (MRC) and merged his Xerox Sales Agency with longtime San Diego Xerox colleague, Bob Leone.
Jim characterizes himself as an avid surfer and snowboarder. He is also very passionate about international travel. Jim and his wife, Katie, like to stay busy by taking their 3 kids to the beach or the mountains. Jim’s leadership has produced year-over-year growth within his region and greatly characterized his career with Xerox and MRC.
