Arturo is a service technician based out of our San Diego headquarters and has been a member of the MRC family for 5 years. (August 4th was his anniversary!) Service with a smile is not just a saying for Arturo, but is what he delivers every day.
Arturo has also distinguished himself as a leader in the Green Parts initiative at MRC for the past 3 months. His activity alone is greater than any other technician in the company, as well as some total teams. This past July his extraordinary actions alone contributed to 37% of the total in company savings – resulting in a huge impact to the bottom line. This initiative however does not only optimize parts expense, but also allows in a quicker response/solution for the customer, as well as less down-time.
Besides providing exceptional service to our customers on a daily basis, and being a leader in company initiatives, Arturo still manages to find time to help his fellow teammates – both in San Diego, and other regions. By assisting the warehouse team in pulling parts for his counterparts in the OC/LA and Bay Area regions, he ensures a quicker shipment turn-around time of in-demand parts. This allows the service organization as a whole to benefit from the Green Parts initiative – optimizing expense as an organization and allowing a quicker company-wide response time.
This “team mentality” and dedication to both MRC and its customers is what makes Arturo stand-out and is why he is Employee of the Month for July. Congratulations, Arturo! This was well deserved, and we thank you for your continued hard work and the tremendous impact you’ve made here at MRC.
